    Thats it the Duratec is back in the back of the van with a whole raft of redesigned and upgraded parts. Valve lift has been reduced by 0.5mm and the inlet cam is a new design Replaced all the valve springs with a new duplex type Replaced bent valves Replaced all pistons with a new improved set Compression has been increased New cam chain Etc A big Thank You has to go out to Simon Armstrong at Ultimate Performance for sorting out the engine after a spring failure at the Isle Of Man He stripped, assessed, repaired, redesigned and rebuilt the motor without a quibble,a true professional If you want an engine built or any cylinder head work done Simon is the guy to speak to Cant wait to get it back in the YOB

    The most damage is caused when the engine oil is cold With the Laminova the oil temp gets to the optimum operating temp much sooner causing less engine wear The correctly spec of Laminova will also peg the oil temp inline with water temp once everything is up to temp Trust me i know from experience and the Laminova works a treat Give me a shout if you are unsure of size Edited by - Tweek Doctor on 25 Jul 2011 19:17:36
