  1. I'm not even sure what I did that was so different, but it worked and got me home! I was approached by 2 young lads who loved the car and wanted pictures in front of it, he did a gangster pose which made me smile. Yes very similar, it's an autowatch AW780
  2. I'm home! It turns out that it was an immobilser issue. I was reading and trying everything that people were suggesting when I read John's reply, so I thought why not I will give it another go.....and it worked! I sort of gave it an extra rub against the wires! My car didn't come with an immobilser fitted, but I had one fitted and used a guy that was suggested by Nick potter. The wiring is hidden in a different place to most other cars. I will give the guy a call tomorrow as it was only fitted at the start of the year. Thanks to everyone, it's great have such a fantastic community on here!
  3. I think the clicking is just in the starter button itself.
  4. When you flick the ignition aero switch you can hear the usual whirring for a couple of seconds which I think is the fuel pump, also the speedo and rev needles jump slightly (all normal for the car), you then press the starter and nothing happens at all!
  5. Well I eventually removed all of them, I couldn't see any issues with them to be honest. Halfords have just tried to give it a jump, but nothing.
  6. I can't see any issues with the 1st 3, but I'm still struggling to remove and check the last 3!
  7. I've got one out! Do I need to open it up to see inside? Sorry, I'm no mechanic!!
  8. I'm struggling to remove those blighters!
  9. I've just checked every fuse (well I have got 4 hrs 30 mins to kill until the RAC arrive!), they all seem to be ok.
  10. Shouod I swap all the blue fuses around?
  11. Nothing dims, nothing changes. The volts are dropping over time a bit, but I think that's because I keep trying to start it.
  12. I've just tried that and nothing. I think the battery is ok, everything seems normal until you actually press the starter!
  13. It had a new banner battery, but that was back in March. I've had no battery issues (always remove the isolator key) and the car felt absolutely fine earlier. It also feels fine when you put the ignition on, it just doesn't do anything when you press the starter, the volts don't change either. I've tried fiddling with the wiring, but I think everything is in place.
  14. Hi all, Ive just come back to my car and it won't start! My voltmeter is showing 12.5 and when I try to start the dash hand brake light comes on and it makes the usual whirring noise. There is a click when pressing the starter, but other than that nothing! I'm outside a Halfords, but I would be surprised if they could do anything. Any ideas would be greatly received
  15. Brand new never worn SPARCO size 44 (see Sparcos website for size guide) £55 + postage
  16. I'm not sure where you are based, but I recently had my titan diff rebuilt. I took the car to NJ Potter, who removed it and sent it to RR for the rebuild, NJ Potter then fitted it back into the car. All in it cost less than £700. I think though this depends what diff you have and how bad it is.
  17. They cut a hole in a carbon dash on a Caterham wheeler dealers, you could maybe watch that to give you a few ideas of what to expect.
  18. #30 Hopefully this link will work. If not then I got them from Amazon, they are £55 each. 19. I've got wisamic LED lights on my car and they are fantastic in the dark. No night time picture, but this is the car just on sidelights.
  20. I have the original Rover cap and I'm wondering if you can buy a better looking replacement that fits the original Rover filler neck?
  21. So £165 from Demon Tweeks for the battery and cage. I imagine we would get discount on top of that as well.
  22. What cages are people using for a PC680? rallynuts.com look to have one for about £35?
  23. You can order 2 different types of Varley, one with a male connector and one with a female connector, for some reason the female connection type are more expensive. I will have a look at those other brands of battery and see if I can find one that's roughly the same size.
