  1. I'm fitting my big brake upgrade and found that I need to use shims on the LH side between the upright and caliper to centre the caliper on the disk, I suspect the disk is too far inboard? and that the bearing spacer shim maybe wrong? there is one fitted but I don't know if it's correct or do I need two? it works just fine, but bothers me that it's not the same both sides Thanks
  2. It's the rivets in the scuttle I want to replace as I intend to remove this to fit the dash. I did think about wrapping the existing dash, but it has a big dent on the passenger side and an extra hole the previous owner put in.
  3. I'm going to replace the dash panel on my 2010 S3, as the current one has dents, extra holes & is faded where stickers have been been on. My question is - What size rivets are used on the scuttle? Thanks

    Brake Pads

I'm in need of some front & rear pads, I've never been too happy with my brakes as they always lack any bite (except after two laps of Donington, then they are excellent). Looks like I've been driving round for the last two years with race pads fitted, where is the best place to currently get pads? Thanks

    Propshaft

It seems to have fallen out, it did have one in there a few months ago. I just have the threaded hole

    Propshaft

I've been under my car checking and topping up my gear oil and thought I'd give the prop UJ a grease at the same time. The is discovered that the grease nipple is missing, can anyone advise me on the size and thread so I can order another (2009 S3 1.6 sigma, ford T9 gearbox) Thanks
  8. I called Titan for some advise when fitting my wide track tie rod arms, they were very helpful and should tell you if the part is the same.
  9. I bought a makita 18v tyre inflator as I already had the 18v battery and charger. You pre set the pressure required and hold the trigger until it stops.
  10. Thanks everyone, I should add I've nothing against softbits, but I'm still waiting for my half hood,
  11. Can anyone recommend an alternative to the softbits steering wheel bag? Some sort of messenger bag maybe? thanks
  12. My wide track kit turned up this morning and I will be fitting it over Christmas. I would appreciate any advice before I start, I intend to go 2-2-2 on the washers, but was wondering about the setting of the top ball joint, I want to get -1.5 degrees camber and would like to get close. I have a camber gauge, but will get the wheel alignment done properly in the new year, and what difference does one turn of the ball joint make? thanks Rich
  13. No cut out on my bonnet,
  14. With a view to a future upgrade on my 2010 sigma 125 to 140, I'm thinking of replacing the cone air filter with the airbox/cold air intake. I will have to move the battery in front of the heater & cut a hole in the bonnet, is there anything else I should know? thanks
  15. and the nose badge? I don't have any mounting holes in the nose
  16. That was me, heading back from a breakfast meet at Glossop
  17. My 2010 car has been painted by the previous owner, and the nose badge and rear panel 'caterham' badges are missing. What are the correct badges for 2010 and does anyone have the measurements so I fit them in the correct position? thanks
  18. Thanks, I'll just fix it to allow for a heater at a later date.
  19. yes, the socket goes there
  20. Yes, I'm ok with that bit, it's just the position of the cover, I'll be securing with velcro, but how far to the left or right should it go? or does it not matter?
  21. the parts I have are 30L090A (fusebox cover) and 30L112A (power socket) the assembly guide does not show an exact position. my car is RHD 2010
