  1. Free to pickup from RG8 9BT. Taken off a 2007 Caterham, with about 4k miles on and not tracked, so have almost all tread still left on them. Note these are hard compound and are old so haven't much grip, see other forum posts about peoples experience with these. I was going to put them on the back and spend a couple of afternoon doing doughnuts but never did.
  2. 0+/1/2 Child Car Seat This is the only child seat I could get to fit in my Caterham S3 Metric, without lowered floors (maybe a problem if your floors are lowered, I remember checking the driver's side of my car that was lowered and it probalby didn't fit, but then 2 year olds can't drive.) Very little use and almost as new, used for the occational school run last year. Looks like halfords are selling for £69, but I just want rid of it so make me an offer and pickup from Goring on Thames (RG8 9DY), near Reading. https://www.halfords.com/baby-and-child/car-seats/child-car-seats/halfords-group-0plus%2F1%2F2-child-car-seat-230281.html?stockInventory=undefined&_gl=1*1lzlpm7*_up*MQ..*_ga*MjA0NTU0NDc4LjE2Nzg0NjA1ODA.*_ga_VK44BRER97*MTY3ODQ2MDU4MC4xLjEuMTY3ODQ2MDU4MC4wLjAuMA..&gclid=Cj0KCQiAx6ugBhCcARIsAGNmMbhDwK9DR7j6ZWabaiyTK0iiPHbZ_eAo0QRIZliOpJQ8mweXrPDUSZYaApDyEALw_wcB
  3. Fitted my S3 Sigma with or without the spare wheel attached. No long needed as I traded the S3 in on a new toy. I have used this outside occasionally and it seemed to keep the car quite dry even in a downpour. But you would need a half hood on too if there was any serious rain, to stop it pooling above the driver’s seat. Bad points (see pictures) - Its got a little wear at the front as it's been rubbing against the number plate and a tiny hole near the back of the car where I caught it on something sharp in the shed, but I think both of these are simple repairs and didn't seem to effect the waterproofness. £30 seems reasonable? I'm between Reading and Oxford postcode RG8 for pickup or can pop it in the post if you pay PnP.
  4. Thanks for all your help on this, I'll be off to buy axle stands and a jack this weekend, and will be reading GTKYS asap. Adam
  5. Picked up my first Caterham at the weekend, a little used 2008 S3 Sigma 150 with the original 14" Avon VR3. The guys at the REHAB meet last night were very helpful and suggested a few improvements I could make, starting with replacing the 13 year old tyres. So having read a few threads here on 14" tyres, and one suggestion from last night I've decided on the Uniroyal RainExpert 3. Looks like my cheapest option is my local tyre garage that will supply and fit for £55 each, any reason why I shouldn't go ahead with this, and is there anything I should worry about like jacking points and the like that are common pitfalls ?
