  1. Thanks Chippy. A question regarding the Cat Bypass. Is there any noticeable gains in removing the Cat?
  2. Hmm thanks. Not the answer I wanted, but what I thought Cheers guys.
  3. Hi. Officially the car has only done 6k miles. Not absolutely sure that's genuine, but I drove 56 miles home today on and off the M3 and even with ear plugs, my ears were ringing! The 420 7 inch silencer has riveTs on the collar at the front of the silencer, so I suspect I'll have to weld nuts inside once the rivets are drilled out. Would be good to know if anyone else has done it. Cheers.
  4. Hi guys I have a 420R and find it a tad noisy, so suspect it's had the stuffing knocked out of it. The standard silencer doesn't appear to be repackable (unless I need new glasses), so is there an easy way to make it repackable or am I looking at a replacement? Cheers
  5. Thanks for all the advice guys.
  6. Hi Guys. This is my first tech post in a 17 year absence, so be kind. I have recently bought a 420R with Caterham 6 speed. Going up the box, it is clunky going into 3rd and only 3rd. It always goes in, but not smooth. No issue on the way down. I have bled the clutch and adjusted the pedal to give excessive travel, but no improvement. Ant ideas? Any thing else I can try without striping the gearbox and replacing the synchro?
