  1. DPR gets a vote from me. Have used them for about three years and they have transformed my car to a great track car that i can use perfectly on the road. Nothing to say but good things.
  2. My 420R with RBTB and standard exhaust, passes at Brands Hatch every time (with bonnet cut out and foam filter). Static reads 95/96 db at approx. 5,500 rpm. I also had no issues at Goodwood and Silverstone, but I did fail towards the end of a trackday at Donnington with a 99db drive by. This was at the start of the Start/Finish straight, i believe this is where the mic is positioned! So short shifted to 3rd sooner on the last hairpin and managed to get through the whole day!

    360 - 420

Hotfoot you are welcome. I went through the same thought process as you have and I am absolutely delighted with the results. Caterham Gatwick are pretty close to me so it made sense to use them. I had previously removed the cat with a £200 decat pipe and the sound now both induction and exhaust is awesome.

    360 - 420

Had Caterham Gatwick do my 360 to 420 last January and the car was a fantastic improvement. Then had Caterham add the roller barrels this January (I couldn't afford this part last year) and done a couple of essential journeys since. You will not be disappointed in any area of the engines performance. I just cannot wait to get it on a track
  5. Hi Dixa1225 I purchased from Caterham Cars and fitted a 30E211B and it fitted perfectly. Not sure what the actual K&N reference is, but i am sure it can be crossed referenced.
  6. DPR motorsport mounts every time for me.
  7. I purchased my LEDs from ClassicCarLEDs as detailed above. 5 mins to fit and already set up for Caterham 7 use. MOT approx 1 month afterwards at Caterham Cars and no one mentioned anything and passed the MOT, so must be ok. And much better illumination at night.
  8. Hiya. That was me. Not much of a bypass today was it? Great morning blat with the Kent 7's though and that more than made it worthwhile getting up early Keith.

  10. Hi Rich, Firstly well done on your choice of a Caterham. I am pretty new to this as well, having only bought my 360R approx 12 months ago. I agree with Michael get onto Blatchat Techtalk, there is a lot of great info and this discussion has popped up a lot. I had the 420 cams etc. added to my 360 in Feb this year, and the lumpiness is not that unusual (whether that right ot acceptable or not is another thing) until the engine was warmed up. There are a number of points on blat chat that will point you in a certain direction or directions, but i felt that my engine couldn't breath properly until it had warmed up. I added a KN filter (420 race version) at approx £55 and a decat pipe approx £260 and the difference was immediately noticable and the car sits at 1000 rpm cold, warm or hot. The engine can get more air into the inlet and exhaust more via the outlet. The added benefit is the sound both induction and exhaust seem better to me (subjective of course). Good luck
  11. I saw it too, and it looked fantastic, sooo clean and shiny. I was in my 7 too, so smiles all round
