Evening all, My 420R is approaching its first birthday, any thoughts on whether I should keep its annual service at Caterham purely to maintain a full Caterham service history, does it make any difference to resale values? the cheaper alternative being do it myself. Thanks, Paul

Afternoon all, ive just treated myself to a Racelogic VBOX timer for private test days on track - not Trackdays! can anyway recommend how and where to securely mount in the car, it comes with a windscreen suction mount but I'd like it lower around the dash and more secure? I've used duct tape in the past but want something safer. thanks Paul

Morning all, Was on track yesterday with new aero screen fitted, way more fun even in the rain! I've seen some people have raised the height of the central mirror because it blocks the nearside view, which it certainly did. Can anyone suggest where I can buy a post to achieve this please, I know I have the option to remove it but I like having it on track. Thanks Paul

Afternoon, Just installed the aeroscreen and delighted with it. I could do with some advice on a couple of areas I can't seem to find answers for please. The windscreen wiper stalks are uncovered, can anyone recommend what to do with them short of removing the whole assembly. 12v master switch shroud doesn't go back on over the aeroscreen, others seem to have the same problem but is there a solution other than leaving it off? Thanks all, the new weights made a horrific sound against the de dion before flying off and hitting the body. Unfortunately I now dont have any (or any idea where they were) so if anyone can share a photo of where they should go that would be helpful? I'll then take the wheels back to the fitter.

Morning all, Recently had two new rears fitted and on the first drive the new wheel weights were (dramatically) ripped off, I'm presuming the fitter put weights on that were too thick and they caught the car when rotating. Anyone got any advice, it's made no difference to the balance? Thanks

Morning all, I would like to adjust the rear anti roll bar one setting to stiffen it up. Can someone point me in the direction of instructions to complete this please or explain how it's done? 420R SV. thanks Paul

Just to close this thread off. It was the sensor, it had been rubbing against the cog and had damaged it. Warranty claim with Caterham and they sent a new sensor which worked straight off. Problem solved.

Thanks for that, I'll check the supply. I'd read about the new style sensor but I don't think it is, I'll take a photo and share it. I have pulled it out to about 3mm to try and see the light but no joy.

Had the wheel off and with ignition on couldn’t see any light coming from sensor, changed the air gap and still no joy. Any idea where the fuse is for it?

Yes, that is my fallback, just a pain to get it to Caterham Silverstone, had a few teething issues.

Evening, Can anyone please help, the speedo has stopped working, there is power to the digital odometer still but it’s stopped increasing mileage. It’s a 2019 420r, Duratek. thanks

Thanks all, seems the only concrete way is actually going there and testing it. I've tested it using an app on my phone and revving inside the car it tops out at 110dB!

Evening all, just bought my first Caterham and aiming to take it to my local track at Bedford shortly for a track day. Does anyone know the unmodified noise levels from a 420R, I’m concerned it’s too loud for the low limits?
