108 hrs over 8 weeks or so. My advice would be to not go too fast as it’s a thoroughly enjoyable experience that’s over all too soon.
There’s a list of blogs within my blog, that may be of interest:

Latest assembly guides can be downloaded from the Caterham Cars website:

Enjoy!

Hi Colin,
I drew it in based on where I found it on my 2019 self build car.
Kind regards

Unfortunately I don't have a photo, but this is roughly where it is located under the transmission cover. To reach it from above, you may also have to remove the plate labelled (2).
Cover is awkward to get off as you'll have to remove the gear knob and may have to slacken off the handbrake via the adjuster attached to the side of the differential.
I doubt you'll be able to get to it from below as the prop shaft is in the way.

I used superglue when assembling the car.

#2 Thanks Jonathan - there seem to be a variety of options and a bit of trial and error.
#4 StevehS3 - would be interested to know how you achieved that. Great result!

I'm sure I've seen this subject discussed before but an struggling to find the thread.
My front carbon wings have white spots appearing (presumably water marks) and I'm looking for advice on how to get rid without having to remove or recoat the wings.
Thanks in anticipation!

Also booked into Guyers again. Looking forward to a great day.

I fitted this to the fuse box cover, taking the supply from the existing permanent supply serving the cigarette lighter. It has an inbuilt switch (the left hand button) so can be isolated to avoid draining the battery, although I have to leave it turned on when connecting my Ctek via the 12V port.

Also, I located the rear 12V supply cable tied under the tunnel cover, behind the handbrake and just forward of the Diff. You'll probably have to take off the cover to gain access.

Hi Anton,
Just spotted what I believe to be your 7 on the roundabout on the A22 near Sackville School, East Grinstead - hope you are OK?

Evening commute back home. Had to make the most of the good weather!
-
There is still a permanent live to the switch so I have to leave it on to use the CTEK.

This is the only version I've come across, but as you say, it doesn't cover the whole top and for that price I would want a bit more!

On of my post build check, as advised by CC, the routing of the handbrake cable behind the hose was noted as being incorrect. This had to be corrected to pass in front of the hose before the car went in for the IVA test.

Guyers House booked!

I'm having the same thoughts and would be interested in any recommendations.

According to the build manual:
Inner side panels = 5/32" x 0.47"
Stone Guards = 1/8" x 0.51"
I used a number of M3 washers to get the tool to fit in the fastener when fitting poppers for the floor mats and door strap.

Hi John,
Forgot to thank you for your kind comments at #11. As I say in the blog, it was very much for my own satisfaction and to provide a lasting memory but I'm pleased others enjoy reading it.
Kind regards
David

Hi John,
My stats are nowhere close to as impressive as yours! - 5,430 views from 501 visitors since publishing the blog in October 2019. I had written up most of the entries before plucking up courage to let the world in on my ramblings!
For the benefit of others, it may be worth having a Blog directory somewhere here. I tried to identify as many as I could and referenced in my blog - https://cat310s.wordpress.com/2019/09/29/reference-material/ - but I'm certain there are more out there waiting to be enjoyed.
