I have recently had a few of the poppers come of my Tonneau. The studs on the car are still fine but the poppers have come out of the leather. Is there a specific crimping tool to fasten them back to the leather? or is it once they're off they're off, and new ones are needed? Cheers Charlie
one pin is welded right in, the upper drivers hinge.. all the others are fine. maybe a silly question but should the pin be seated in the car hinge or the door hinge? quoted £40 so far!!

Hi Dave, unsure on the difference but I have been advised to have 6 "185 front and 8" 215 back as running 275 BHP. But I guess it will be easier to find 4 x 6. and better than 8" all round? Cheers Charlie
Hi Tony, so do you think the high bite point, that has been like this for a year and not changed, is not symptomatic of the plates on the way out? do you recall roughly how long the whole process took to change the slave?

Very Similar Alan, but not a factory job. Its a 270 with inboard suspension and the other bits and pieces like the CSR. Raceline built and fitted the new engine in 2008 so trying to find out what i can if info has lasted the decade!

I'm looking to have my 7 stripped and resprayed metallic black, It is currently black but roughly 5 different shades. Does anyone know a reasonable body/paint shop, that has caterham experience, that would do a simple one colour no stripe respray? Hi Jonathan thanks for getting back. Unfortunately i don't live in the UK, where my 7 does, so i only get about 4 times a year to drive it and will do so every day when I'm back and in any weather. Having said that i don't see wet as that important as i take it very easy in the wet anyway. Hi all, I've just joined and getting used the how the whole things works, I'm looking for a pair of tyres for my 2005 Duratec R (not sure what details make a difference to the tyres if any?) Currently running on Yokohama Advan 195 60 R14 86H any suggestions whether these are the best tyres for the 7 or if there is a better version or suitable substitute would be greatly appreciated.
