David Thank you for your detailed instructions. It is very helpful. I was particularly interested to learn how you mounted the charging point as I too wanted to find a way to have the USB charging facility without making it a permanent fitting. Much appreciated.

Yes that's correct. It is a Vecta Shadow Control System. The paperwork I have from my 1997 car shows a telephone number for Vecta Ltd as 01376 515999. (I've not tried calling)
