Thanks David, My second reply crossed with yours, I do have a copy of PBC checklist (Michaela sent it to me also). I was going to go through it once I had completed build but will have a look at it in detail before adding any fluids. Tony

David, Just had a look at how I fitted rear brake hose and I have added a washer as well as half nut. Does the revised new guide just have a half nut? I think this is what the section you have added shows (resolution is a little bit ‘grainy’) but just want to make sure before I alter mine. Tony

David, That’s interesting and I imagine pretty damn frustrating. I’m just coming to end of my 420R build, hopefully. I still have a few bits to complete which are taking me longer than expected (spent all day fitting rear wings and day before doing front wings, all quite fiddly and time consuming). As per your comments, I have relied on downloaded manuals, (‘Old’ 2015 guide and IKEA version from website), plus Derek who has been good, and the many blogs that various people have kindly produced and existing BC forum posts. Currently I have arranged for Caterham to pick up my car on 8th July for PBC, although I am getting a bit nervous about completing everything for this date. If you have any other items that relate to incorrect instructions in manual I would be keen to know what they are. Good luck with arguing your case, it seems pretty strong to me. Tony

Just trying to sort out my 420R insurance and so far MSM look to be best value but they require a CAT1 alarm or tracker to be fitted. My car will be new with the standard immobiliser and a battery master cutoff switch, so presume any alarm/tracker will be self-powered. My kit arrives tomorrow so have a bit of time to sort but what do others use/recommend?

Now seems to have resolved itself without clearing history but will do that anyway.

It is when adding a new post, I have been registered for about 11 months. Tried logging in and out. Haven’t tried a different machine yet. I didn’t get error when adding a comment to a thread I didn’t start.

I keep getting error message when I try to add a new comment to one of my posts. Is it me, or is there an error? Using my iPad to access forum and I can see new posts, etc. OK.
