  1. Hi Richard, Be carefull... Tony from TSK told me that the 2 paint codes will look different! Although they are both called "Arancio Argos", they can not be combined. Therefor he looked up if my chassis nr was painted by TSK or by Caterham, and so he found out what paint code i would need. FYI, Tony told me that there might be a chance that he would also switch to this Caterham paint brand at some time... Good luck with the rework. Wim
  2. My car is also Arancio Argos. Because i plan to put a 620 nose on it, i also needed the paint code. But be careful... there are 2 specs out there. The ones that are painted by TSK have a different brand and code than the ones that are painted by CC now. Give Tony from TSK a call, he found out that my car was painted by CC. CC uses "Spies Hecker" paint, and the code for Arancio Argos is "CAT 402 SH". Hope that helps. regards, Wim

    Loctite 243 source

If you buy Loctite 243, or any other Loctite product... always look at the expire date! Some stores sell their expired products at lower prices... This date is always printed on the bottle, in most cases at the bottom. The expected result / strength is guaranteed until that date... afterwards the product will be unreliable for critical applications. Also, select the correct Loctite nr, becasue this is related to the strength! Loctite 222 = low strength (but vibration resistant!) Loctite 243 = medium strenth, still removable with normal tools. Loctite 270 (or 2701) = high strenth, only removable after heating up! Ideal for studs. Good luck! Wim, Loctite Automotive Engineer :)
  4. Hi Clive, If you still are looking for those indicator pods... i have 2 new ones available. I bought the carbon ones, but still need to swap them. My car is 4 months old factory build, so brand new in fact. Was waiting for my Spring-service to let my dealer mount them... because i'm affraid i will mess up the light position... Let me know if you still need them. Best regards, Wim
  5. OK, indeed looking good so far... please keep us updated how they solve this.
  6. Hi Neil, Is that where the lowered floor panels meet the sidewall? I also have a new factory build car that was painted / build in July 2018, delivered end of August 2018... just checked and mine looks ok, for now. Would like to stay updated on this... wondering how Caterham will react to this, and how they will solve it. Indeed, looks like a bad pre-treatment before painting... so could expect this on other areas too... AND also on my car :( Hopefully this is not an issue related to the inhouse paintjob nowadays... and only a one-off... All the best! Wim
