  6. Hi all, sorry if this has been discussed many times before however, I would ‘like’ a lowered floor pan for the passenger side of my S3. Unfortunately missed one group purchase recently with the reading group. I don’t have any companies near me that could make them so am wondering if anyone out there could possibly arrange this. Hope this makes sense and thanks.

Hi, Im sure that there has been lots of info about this in the past, and if i knew how to search the archives i could check......Doh However, is it possible to by pass this unit. 1600 K ex race car TRACK DAY use only.... Mine fell off its clip and melted on yesterdays track day. If its too difficult can anyone give the part number for it please as the label on mine got a bit sindged!!!!!! Thanks John
  9. Hi all , I’m looking for some part worn 185/60/13 (or similar) tyres suitable for running in the wet on track days. They’ll get used 2 or 3 times a year so can’t justify new. I’ve got 2 cr500’s already but would prefer some ZZS or A539’s hope someone can help. Thanks, John

  11. Hi all Looking for some advise as to the best way to bed in F6 front pads properly. Don't want to ruin them at the price they come in at!! Having searched the Mintex site i don't seem to be able to get a definitive answer......unless im not looking properly.!!!! Thanks
  12. Hi, think your right Revilla it is 5, but my understanding is that there is an optimum voltage output of .43v required that initiates the Ecu to make the necessary fueling adjustments. The reason I’ve fitted 3 is that the first 2 failed fairly quickly with zero resistance in the spindle.
  13. hi, over the last couple of years I’ve now fitted 3 of the standard TPS units to my Mega Grad 1600k track day car. I’d like to get some opinions as to others experiences and solutions. Some of the standard units don’t even have slots to be able to adjust them. Thanks

As used in Mega Grad and Classic 7's racing.   16. Thanks for the feed back. Think I’ll change the studs and nuts so I’ve a good basis to start from and keep a closer eye on it . Strange though I’ve been doing track days for years and never had this ‘issue’ before. cheers
  17. That’s very interesting.... have you ever experienced one side getting tighter? I know technically it shouldn’t happen. I do find that when on a day with 20min sessions I can overlook coming in to recheck!!!
  18. Hi, all faces have been chemically cleaned, they’re closed nuts and 85nm torque.
  19. Hi all Has anyone experienced wheel nut torque / security changing (tightening or loosening) when running slicks on a track day. Car is set up for ZZR's but have tried running std width (6") slicks without changing the suspension set up. After an extended run found the offside nuts really tight and scarily the nearside a bit loose!!! Happened more than once..... Any thoughts/observations would be welcome. Thanks
  20. Hi I run a 1.6 K mega grad ex race car used for track days only. It currently doesn’t run a thermostat and stays pretty cool on track. Oil temp seems to run ok at around 100. It’s been this way since it was retired from racing and I bought it. Id like to know what the general consensus is as to running a stat or not. thanks
  21. Done that...seems that the readings im getting are within the normal expacted of .2V to .9v and very quick changes. Also makes a difference the running when disconnected after the engine started....so its not that ( i think ) I have discovered that with the ICV sealed off the engine starts but needs throttle to keep it going until warmed then it runs fairly smoothly. Unsealing the ICV the revs pick up and stay up....Changed the ICV but no different. Confused....you bet
  22. Hi all Does anyone know how to test a Lambda sensor to see if its working correctly. I run a 1.6 Mega Grad on a Supersport EU3 ECU and its been giving me a few running issues as in revs sticking ranging between 800 and 1200 {up and down}. Changed the TPS, the ICV and both water rail temperature senders......and done various resets. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks John
