  1. I wear a noise-canceling headset in the air for up to 15 hours at a time, it doesn't matter how well they are made and what you do to them, they all hurt eventually
  2. Spotted again, parked up outside FHQ.
  3. A fleeting glimpse at the lights heading towards the A15 southbound at Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln, lunchtime.
  4. While we're on the subject of paint work being rubbed. My standard doors are rubbing the paint work mainly at the lower rear corner, but a little along the lower front edge. Is there a recommended method of stopping this?
  5. Thanks for that, it has standard track width. The advert I bought it from said that it had standard track and standard suspension but an advert for the same car from about 2013 (based on MOT mileage figures) states that it had wide track wishbones and Superlight suspension. I have no idea how to identify Superlight suspension, it currently has adjustable Bilstein dampers/springs. Not sure why the spec has changed, the earlier advert was from Caterham South. Steve
  6. How can I tell if my S3 is wide track? It said it was in one for sale advert, but not in another.
  7. Thanks for that, I know a friend of a friend who is an auto locksmith. I'll have a chat with him.
  8. The immobiliser works ok and I've reset it a number of times, but it doesn't "autoset" and the lights don't do what I think they should do. That said, at the end of the day it works, in that it stops the fuel from being fed to the engine; however, it's not "fully functional". Mines an EU3 1.8 X-Power K series should that make any difference. Steve
  9. I have a 2005 Roadsport with the Rover Robust Immoibliser. It appears to work ok if I manually set it using the key fob, but it doesn't autoset after the ignition is switched off (no matter how long it is left). Even when setting the immobiliser manually, the indicator light flashing sequence doesn't occur; it just flashes at a regular rate after a few minutes. Is there a simple fix for this, or do I need to get it looked at? Cheers, Steve
  10. Passed you in a tin top as you headed up Yarborough Hill from the City centre this morning.
  11. Off-side rear wheel arch. Pull the grommet out to access the connection. I fed the 2 spade connections up through the fuel filler pipe cover and ran the high level brake light wires down through the roll bar.
  12. Thundersport or SBFS, interested in either.
  13. Looking for an RE Boot bag for an S3 Roadsport, my wife wants to go on a road trip :)
  14. Yes please Russ, I'll PM you. Steve
