  1. I took delivery of an Apollo kit last week so had a poke around at the weekend. It was missing the little yellow sponge that goes under the cam cover but Caterham popped that in the post. The instructions in the build manual neglect to mention you need to drill a hole in the cam cover to fit the small braided hose from the top of the Apollo. Any one know what size drill & tap you need? Thanks, Roger
  2. Hi all, I've bought myself the WideBand Lambda kit from Emerald to go with my K6 ECU (on an EU3 K Series 1600). I was thinking I could just swap it for the standard Narrow Band one but the datasheet says it should be 600mm from the valves. That'll put it on the outside in the airflow, rain, stones and general muck from the road. Where have other people mounted theirs? Thanks, Roger
  3. Thanks Dave, I thought there might be some shaped washer to fit the bar but just a straight bolt and nyloc makes life easier as I have plenty of those. One gripe I've got with the Caterham parts website is they don't say "you might need this fitting kit". I suppose I should have learnt when the roll over bar arrived only to realise I had to order the slim headed bolt for the bottom fixing. C'est la vie! Roger
  4. Hi all, I fitted the FIA Trackday bar (79032U with two diagonals) to my Imperial S3, no problem. I have the Petty Strut (79048, the one piece version) to do now but was trying to figure out if there's a special fixing for the curved bracket where it bolts through the rollover bar, or just a regular bolt and nut? Any ideas? Any photos of where the bottom end of the strut bolts to the chassis? Thanks, Roger
  5. Thanks, that's good news. Yes, it's an Imperial chassis and I put Copaslip (well 3-in-1 equivalent) on them. Just need to put the dampers back now. Hoping things warm up, Castle Combe in less than 3 weeks.
  6. I spent a chilly afternoon getting the FIA bar fitted. The question I have: The bolts that go in from below, to my mind they should have a washer, but they're especially slim heads on the bolts, I guess to clear the damper, so I'm assuming not. Washer or no washer, what's the line? Cheers, Roger
  7. Hi, I'm converting from flared wings and after a pair of front cycle wing stays, ideally 15/16" but will consider 13/14" ones. Thanks, Roger
  8. Hi Steve, I have one, which you can have for the price of the postage but it's still attached to the car so I have to remove it. How soon would you need it? Cheers, Roger
