  1. "Bring a jack" it is in the boot full time lol. Thanks Gary, I will see you tonight.
  2. Hi Shaun, It works well now. Thank you. Alan
  3. Message sent, Thanks Alan
  4. Funny enough I did that earlier, I was wondering where people would go for a new set, I have found a set of new (link below) with tyres but the rear tyres are slightly larger than the fronts and don't know if they would foul on the arch or brackets, my car is an SV, also would be ideal with same size tyres so could have a spare also. It also mentions the offset E23 and centre bore 63.4, and being new to 7's I don't know right from wrong. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15-CATERHAM-KIT-CAR-PRO-RACE-1-2-GLOSS-ANTHRACITE-ALLOY-WHEELS-TOYO-R888r-TYRES-/301976830265?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
  5. Evening all, so where would you go to buy a set of 15" wheels? Thanks Alan
  6. After a good set of 15" wheels if anyone has any please?
  7. Hi Chris, Have sent private message regarding payment etc, if no joy I will text you in the morning. Thanks Alan
  8. Hi, can I take the draft reducer and headlight covers please, just off to meeting but will contact you when back to sort payment. Thanks Alan
  9. Can't say I had noticed anything to be honest Jonathan, (apart from the oil pressure) and when I filled up I had only driven a mile to the garage since staring it first thing in the morning having stood overnight. Alan
  10. This brings back memories to my first ever car(Vauxhall Viva), I was seeing a girl in Chelmsford and the traffic was often bad, if it was queued back further than a certain point I knew I was in trouble, the car would stop and not restart for at least an hour or more, despite numerous AA callouts the problem was never solved. One day I was going to work, I reached the dreadful Canningtown roundabout and sat in traffic, as I finally pulled on to the roundabout it cutout on me and wouldn't start, I lifted the bonnet and for some unknown reason I decided to put a radiator bracket I had in the car between the head and the petrol pipe, problem solved, it never did it again, it was obviously the heat from the engine evaporating the fuel in traffic. The hours of pain that had caused me! On another note, when I filled my 7 up for the second time, as I took the cap off there was a big suction of air, does this mean I have a problem with the tank or cap? Alan
  11. Hi John, yes Ian provided me with all the info and more thanks, and it turns out he is only down the road from me, what a freindly bunch you all seem.
  12. HAha, I can see just how easy "upgraditis" is to catch.
  13. Morning John, As per my previous post, I am definitely going to talk to the dealer before anything is done, I was interested in all the possible causes people were suggesting and to read all the available information on them and the remedies. I definitely won't be doing anything major to the car as it is still standard as it left the factory at the moment.
  14. Funny enough Glasgow I have read all the thread about you doing yours.
  15. Hi Ian, Unfortunately it has come through looking like the complete alphabet a million times over. Thanks Alan
  16. Hi John, I just read the article you linked to, unfortunately all the inks given in the article do not work, the ones to Ian's instruction guide and one to a place that sell the mechanical gauge in particular. Thanks Alan
  17. Thanks for the replies, umm, starting to wish I had not asked the question, 2nd day of ownership and it looks like I have opened a can of worms already lol. I guess I need to speak to the dealer before I start to make any changes, firstly because I have a 3 month warranty, secondly I don't want to start messing about with it if there is the slightest possibility that there could be damage caused to the engine by the foam already, sincerely hope not though as I am loving it so far.
  18. Very worrying, I only have just over 2 bar when hot @4/5000 revs, and when idling it is dropping into the red on occasions or just above. I only collected the car yesterday and it has had a service "including foam baffle". Are the baffles normally changed every service?
  19. Could you please tell me what oil pressure you have on your K series? I have a 1.8, X Power 140 bhp and not sure the pressure is high enough, seems low compared to my previous cars although they were not sevens. Thanks Edited to add, X Power 140
  20. Blue seven passed me in my green with yellow stripe along the front this afternoon, we did wave at each other though
  21. Okay, yes my bad, I was referring to a wind deflector that goes behind the seats. Sorry.
  22. Hi Arno, I have not asked about glass lol, hanks anyway. Alan
  23. 1 bag and 1 tube please Jonathan, both black. Alan
  24. Hi Jonathan, Thanks for the reply, do you have any of the tool tubes and bags left? Thanks
