Thanks. Ive seen the product blue hermetite (spelt wrong above) which I now understand is now called Hylomar mentioned as the product to use for the mechanical pressure modification. ill look to get both this and loctite as they both will be useful.

I'm in the process of replacing a damaged oil pressure and oil filter housing and looking to add the mechanical type which is available from 'think autos'. I've seen people recommend a product called blue hermotite. I can't see this product for sale anywhere. I've seen red which has now been renamed. So I'm looking for some suggestions as to what product to use. Many thanks.
