  1. As the title really, fair condition, one lens has a small crack, complete with wiring and plugs.

  2. Oil pressure gauge dropped below zero which gave me a bit of a fright but I'm 99% sure there is oil pressure and it's the gauge that's faulty. Is there a simple way for me to check tough?

    I did pop the gauge out to have a look at the connections but also managed to blow a fuse which put the rest of the gauges out! (now fixed).

    As mentioned the car was previously raced but was meticulously maintained by McMillian Motorsport before and after every race. The only negatives are the lack of any documented 'service history' and the fact that the speedo is currently not working.
    Obviously road registered (08 plate, 1 previous owner), 11months MOT, currently taxed and insured so I can take you for a test drive!

    *Car will come with a windscreen and wiper motor as well as passenger aeroscreen and the half doors pictured. The Apollo wheels shown in one of the photos are available by separate negotiation if desired.

    Great fun for the summer or could easily be raced again.

  4. I still have a hankering for an early car. Anything considered probably limited by budget which is @£25.k

    Would also consider a project vehicle. Straight purchase or can do a deal on my Caterham or Lotus Exige.

  5. What stuff is still for sale?

    Possibly interested in these;

    caterham branded k series cam cover

    carbon effect sbfs tonneau for imperial car with cage and tillets

    outdoor cover

    titanium 7 grille badge

    Sent you a message yesterday?

  6. I'd need to check what immobiliser, has the black square fob with two buttons.I don't have the reset proceedure.

    I re-installed the lights etc. Had a problem with the hazards but sorted that.

    I wasn't really paying attention at that point but possibly, and given my playing with the lights it could well be a low battery, will try to check tomorrow.

  7. Had a bit of drama during todays MOT test. Car (2005 K-series) has been starting fine etc. Get to te MOT station fine, ask tester if he'd like me to drive/help etc. he declines, drives the car into the garage, emissions test done, stalls car driving onto ramp and we were unable to start it for what seemed like ages, fortunatly he was able to complete the test and it passed! But we'd given up trying to start it and I was being pushed out of the test centre with the intention of calling the RAC when I thought I'd give it one last go and it started!

    Got home OK but the red immobiliser light is constantly on, that's not right is it?

    I turned it off using the FIA key and will have another look tomorrow, any ideas?

  8. I guess you could argue that there was "no practical position for the mounting of an interior mirror.", hence a nearside mirror is required.

  9. According to Google;

    "Requirements and Procedures are 1.Check that the vehicle is fitted with the correct amount of obligatory mirrors. Obligatory mirrors required are: one interior and one offside mirror If the interior mirror cannot meet the field of view requirements see note Below then the obligatory mirrors required are: one nearside mirror and one offside mirror Note: An interior mirror must be fitted unless: It would provide no rearward vision e.g. obscured by a solid bulkhead The vehicle has a central driving position where there is no practical position for the mounting of an interior mirror "

    Which sounds like your's should have a central mirror?
