  1. I removed my B6 Tilletts and replaced with W1i Carbon Low backs

The same shell shape but fit below a tonneau cover, as I have a Cage with the headrest mounted to that, the high back gave no additional support (And ruined the lines of the car in my opinion)

If you are racing, then I'd advise getting a proper Bag seat made up.

    Much more comfortable, and secure.

  2. Are Tywraps acceptable for IVA ?

I  have used Bigheads and the Adhesive sold by ECF to attach my wings as I like the ability to take them and the wing stays off without splitting the top Ball joint.

(But I have not been through IVA like that)

  3. Where is the paint dot on the sidewall in relation to the valve ?

Most people  including most tyre fitters, dont realise that this corresponds to the heavy spot on the tyre.

This should be placed opposite the valve as a starting point, as the 2 help to cancel each other out, and normally means you need less weight to balance the over all assembly.

It be tempted to break the beads, reseat the tyre with plenty of soap, paying attention to where this mark is, then rebalance as Scott has said with 30-35psi in the tyres.

  4. Nope, you Caterham bods have already called it something else to confuse normal folk

    Its always been corner weighting.

God knows where "Flat flooring" came from ?

Corner weighting is the correct engineering terminology.

In Racing terms each wheel and suspension system is classed as a "Corner"

You are measuring how much mass is being carried by each wheel (Corner)

It is nothing to do with the floor *coffee*

Dave, did you want Alex Brake`s (Magnitude Events) contact details about a Hethel day on the Lotus Test track ?

He normally can arrange Factory Tours and Tours of Classic team lotus on the same day too ?
