  1. Interested too (with UK delivery) if A700H finally not interested.
  2. I sent an entry request to Shere www.sherehillclimb.co.uk with the S2 (and another Caterham owner who want to do it wit his 3 wheeler reliant ) I will send one too to Kop Hill https://www.kophillclimb.org.uk/ (post war car registration starts on 23/04) Will see if they are interested about a C21. It is the day after the Graham Nearn memorial blat and only 1 hour from fire college. Are some club members or club area taking part to these both events?
  3. Elie, It is my blue road S2 I'm just after a "round" tractable engine for road use. It is a 120E block so 1499cc (I tried 32 choke but it is perhaps too much for this engine capacity?) At the moment it is rough around 2500/3000rpm (no spitting carb or exhaust) but looks too rich (little black exhaust smoke at first pedal action and black sparks). Problem is anything leaner is even worst. Could you let me know value to check about float level ? Also I'm interested about advice to set up idle screw. Thanks !
  4. Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to find the best jetting for my S2 (Pre Xflow with fast road cam on twin 40DCOE) I found plenty of infos about Xflow jetting but nothing about Pre Xflow. Trying Xflow jetting as basic set up is OK but far from perfect. I will be very happy if you could share your jetting to help me to find the best set up. At today best for me is: Choke 30 fuel 125 / F16 / air 160 Pump 35 Idle jet 45F9 Thanks for your help !
  5. Spa classic is run by Peter Auto (Classic Le Mans too) and have reputation of pricey event...I think the bee was 9Eur at Classic Le Mans this year !! In my opinion Spa 6H in September is better (Run by Belgians). My Belgian local friend agree too. More relaxed atmosphere, cheaper and widely open pitlane (if you are discreet). Highlight of the event is the 6H race: More than 100 cars on track at the same time an 20+ (yes twenty) GT40 raced at the same time with real race action during 6h and until 22PM so with night action ( Repairs in the pitlane are always very interesting ). It is must for me. On the endurance side: Classic Le Mans is a multiple 40mn sprint race but not a real endurance race...that's quite different. I do not tell Spa 6H is better than classic Le Mans: They are different. But for sure Spa 6H is better than Spa Classic. Worth to do it the year without Classic Le Mans... as 2019 Whatever event you will attend take time for a walk around track (around 45mn). Worth it for race action and help to understand worldwide interest about the Belgian toboggan !
  6. Paid. Thanks for sorting this order for us
  7. www.sherehillclimb.co.uk is confirmed on Sunday 1st September
  8. Rhoôo this one looks very nice for the all family EXCELLENT Thanks Simon
  9. Few days off Blatchat and so much answers: Thanks 2019 Calendar will fill up fastly now. I'm not very interested about school I'm more looking for typical relaxed British HC atmosphere with nice with pre 80's cars. I invested a lot of time on this 7 and I'm only looking for safe spirited driving. @Shaun: You're right for competing in UK I need an international FFSA licence (VERY expensive for just 1 or 2 events). When you speak about "events" you mean national HC championship not club championship I'm right ? @Ian thanks for links. I will chase Teamer notifications as usual ;-) - This year Valence HC and Ieper Lotus day will not be at the same date and could perhaps allow a larger Kent7 group there ? - Bo Peep seems uncertain for 2019 (HC road modification?). - Shere HC exactly looks what I'm after (mix of period and cars and bikes). Unfortunately 2019 date is unknow yet @Simon thanks for head up on Crystal palace event. Looks like a nice one. I subscribed to the newsletter. I'm a bit afraid it is a competition event but I will look for a road legal or demo class. 2019 looks more interesting now
  10. I'm looking for hillclimbs for 2019. Preferably located in south east but can travel for interesting ones like Prescott etc... My car is a 1962 S2: No MSA or FIA paperwork for car or driver and period rollbar...so probably restricted to demo only (?) Any advice warmly welcome about events and/or regulations. Thanks !

  15. Infos sent to potential buyer thanks. Chris could you let me know by PM your email ? I will forward it to Tamas too Ian thanks for your help as usual. We keep in touch however they are very big and will not fit into your estate but a Kent collection is better than a Yorkshire one if we can sort out something
