I am after a good second hand BJ Minno trailer,must be able to carry an S3 with wide track suspension and fit thro. a 7ft garage door. Cash waiting.

I had the same problem getting the tyre valve attachment to seal,ended up wrapping PTFE plumbing tape around the valve.

My 2.0L duratec supersport R has started sometimes stalling while coming off the throttle and coming to a stop with the clutch in and out of gear, also I am noticing a slight pinking when the engine is under load.I don't think the 2 things are related but would be grateful for any ideas.If a remap is required am I right in assuming the ecu is locked.

Isn't the standard gasket made from cork,is it possible to source some thicker cork.

Just looked again and the Speedo is the(2005-2015) version.

Not sure which Speedo the only identification I can find are the numbers

71255SM and EE-S33-1B32-16B  which way just be serial numbers.

The car is a 2015 supersport R 2.0l duratec with a caerbont Speedo head.As you say increasing the gap will be my next step,will have to wait for the weather to warm up now.If that yields no rewards then the wiring will be the next thing to inspect.

The Speedo was working fine until I stopped when it seems like there is a heat build up as when carrying on after the Speedo jumps around until it seems like it cools then works fine again.Also on a trip to Portugal last year the Speedo was working fine until the temperature rose to 25C ,then the Speedo was jumping around while driving and at 28+ it stopped working altogether until the temperature dropped then it worked fine again,this happened many times while there.During the cooler months there has been no problem.I am wondering whether the gap needs to be larger to allow for possibly expansion of the trigger wheel with the heat.

I have been playing around with different sensor gaps today,originally the gap was 1mm and the Speedo worked fine until stopped in traffic or the weather was hot when the Speedo fluttered or died until it cooled.Dropped the gap to 0.8mm   the led was on all the time,opened up to 0,8-0.85 but Speedo flickered at 30 mph increased gap to 0.9-0.95 and the Speedo works fine.Not been stuck in traffic and not too hot today so I am not holding my breathe that it's fixed.The variation in the gap at any one setting is down to the gear wheel run out.Not sure what happens if the gap is larger than 1mm, I think it was over that when the problem 1st  arose ,in my ignorance I never checked the gap before reducing it.Not sure if increasing the gap will help.

I have 2015 DURATEC,I am finding the Speedo works fine until either I stop in traffic or the weather gets hot then it flutters and dies until I get moving or the weather cools,this leads me to think the problem is heat build up somewhere but would it be the sensor or the speedo head.At the moment the sensor gap is 1mm and the led flashes on every tooth of the gear wheel.If anyone  has any thoughts I would be very grateful.

I find it easier to have the full master switch so that when I leave the car parked I can turn everything off ,ie. lights intercom etc in one operation.Also taking the master switch key with you is an additional anti theft device,I have been known to leave the ignition keys in though.After a while it becomes second nature and while away from the car it takes away nagging doubt ,did I turn the lights off etc.

I have a similar problem in that with a significant temperature change due to the weather I get condensation forming on the discs which causes the pads to stick.I tend to roll the car back and forth on a regular basis to free off the pads.

I have 2.0l supersport R with an LSD  but have not experienced the noise you complain of.For normal! road use I don't really notice much difference to an open diff but on a track it is beneficial.

Had mine set up at Northampton Motorsport took about two and a half hours,sat in the car eating sandwiches and drinking coffee while it was done.Car feels much more stable and responsive now.Well worth the expense

I assume the trackrod  ends have no wear in them.

2015 2.0L supersport R.One of the anti rattle springs that stop the front brake pad retaining pins from rattling is missing any ideas where I can get one.

Rang Caterham and emailed them but have had no reply so rang Arch,a very helpful chap there looked at a chassis they had there and confirmed that there is in fact only one lap strap mounting point on the chassis.

I have a 2015 chassis S3.I noticed that that the carpet on the outer drivers side has 2 holes in it,one of which the outboard lap strap bolt goes through,there is a hole in the carpet about 2 inches further back from this and I was wondering if this corresponds to another mounting point.As I am only slight a further mounting point would be useful.Does anybody know if the other hole is in fact another mounting point before I drill an exploration hole to find out.
