On a similar note, having spoken to Steve at Avon recently he informed me that CR500's are being phased out over the next twelve months. 

He said there would be a replacement that should give the same characteristics but with improved longevity and should be slightly cheaper.

Yeah, same detail here. 

If I fit the lower channel on the panel tight to the bottom of the frame I've reckon I've got a good 10mm of material to remove and maybe half as much either side. I'll need to trim at the steering column point too!

Whoever drilled the hole for the horn button must have been on the hit and miss the night before too, its way too big and I've had to use a black washer to hold it!

I'm using an adhesive (looks a bit like black mastic) to bond it to the frame. I'm planning on letting it cure overnight then start the trimming process. 

I fitted flat square nuts from the local hardware store to mine, it makes them "captive" very effectively and completely eliminates the problem.

Has anyone fitted a Caterham supplied carbon dash panel?

I've done a couple of test fits and there seems to be a fair bit of material trimming required to get the correct fit under the scuttle at the top and either side. I'm a but disappointed with the fit to be fair! 

I'm after a set of front wing indicator repeaters, the non-chrome type, lens colour doesn't matter.

I've got another shower cap coming with my new car this week so I'll have a spare SBFS item. 

It only goes as far as the bottom of the screen so I don't know if its any good to you?
