Hi, looking for a clutch release fork for a K Series Dry Sump. I am aware that there are a couple of options new, caterham version and uprated PGM version.
Any good condition used ones available?

Hi
I am looking at a Duratec with a D4 engine code in the Caterham VIN.
On the very helpful chassis number guide it shows two different engine versions for Duratec with either a C or D code.
Can anyone clarify the difference?
Are C UK and D export market?
Regards

I also have a complete VHPD head, lightly ported, with mechanical followers, VHPD camshafts. Same specification as on Caterham Superlight R and R400 cars.

Hi Richard, I have a fully ported VVC cylinder head which has modifications to allow VVC blanking, a VVC blanking kit, uprated piper springs.

I think for me it's not just the radiator, having had 7 K series sevens I have seen too many leaking heater matrix's.
maybe I haven't got the knack after all this time but tend to spend too much time chasing coolant leaks.
the G48 although not the latest recommended coolant it was pre 2001 so 'should' be ok
-
Just to update on original post.
thanks to all for comments and recommendations.
I opted to replace with another Radtec and have used Comma G48 coolant. Great service from Radtec.
it appears that using red OAT coolant and it sitting over long periods has probably accelerated the issues.
Hopefully using different coolant will extend radiator and other component life.

My opinion only -
The cafe racer look good and closest to Caterham design.
I couldn't distinguish the difference with the majority of 5 3/4 units sold including those on eBay and Amazon.
I opted for a cheapo set c£40 pair as per recommendation from another club member and was very pleased with both fitment and light quality. I ran the halo as indicator and existing indicator as side light.
Main debate appeared to be on MOT UK compliance and the units I had passed an MOT and had a E marking so all good.

Hi,
looking for latest recommendations on new radiator for K series c160bhp car.
I have had 3 new Radtec radiators on 3 cars over the years. They don't appear to last very long, maximum 3 years. Some debate on impact of running pink coolant on life of radiator.
got a quote for a new one at c£300. Like most things gone up from £225 over last 3 years since last one.
Any recommendations on alternative?
kind regards
Paul
