By Guest, in Caterham and Lotus Sevens,

    Hi

I'm sorry to report that one of our members Jeff Hodgson (from Welling, Kent area) has had his R500 stolen from his driveway on 20th July 2009 between 7.30pm - 9.45pm. He believes it was pushed up the road to be loaded on to a trailer as he was home at the time and did not hear the engine start. He does also have an ignition cut off switch. As you can imagine he is very upset and has asked me to make you all aware of the theft. The details are as follows:

    Chassis no: SDKRDK5NS60050601
    Reg: R500 GB
    Engine No: KS213
    2007 SV R500 (originally R400 Superlight)
    Just under 1,300 milage
    Florescent yellow
2L K Series engine made by 'Judd' & from a British touring car
    Quaiff 6 speed gearbox
    13" Spider wheels in black
    New sticky Koyom tyres
CSR nose cone & front wings
    'STACK' dash
    FIA black roll bar
    Tillett seats
    Caterham 4 point harnesses
    Push button start
    Carpeted in black
    Heater fitted
    Stainless steel race exhaust
    AP brakes
    Tonnau cover in black vinyl
and has lots of carbon accessories like the lights, indicators, mirros, wind deflector etc.

Please note that when the pictures were taken the Caterham had different wheels, number plate and engine and the stickers have been removed more recently.
