sjmmarsh
Apologies if you have seen this question in the last few days, but it seems to have disappeared off BC. I notice that the inner rear brake pad wears much faster than the outer ones. Is there a good reason why I shouldn't just swap the pads round? I suspect that it is not a good idea because the pads wear differently, so would not be flush with the disk when reversed?? Steve
Trevor Newman
personally i would swap them over be be cautious like with new pads as they bed in to fit the contours of the disc in their new locations as the general concensus is the rear is over braked then you have nothing to lose
mav
Steve, It seems to be a feature of the setup, when te solid lines are utilised. I have swaped the lines out to the rear calipers for braided hoses and the pad wear is much more even...
