TorAtle
What types should I be looking at if I'd like one that's more reliable and accurate? Preferrably I'd like one with 1/8-27 thread and as small as possible please. Suggestions?

Jason Plato
if you buy the remote sender mounting kit , the oil pressure sender then lives next door to your horn . This keeps it safe and sound
TorAtle
SPA, ok, that's one...except they make mainly gauges not senders. There must be a company producing all kinds of quality senders for automotive and industrial use????
Bricol
I fitted a mechanical guage - which also had a temp scale for oil temp - looks pretty similar to std caterham guages. Bri
V7 SLR
Spa gauges come with new senders too. They're very accurate and quick to respond.
NigelJ
I think you will find that most data logging manufacturers (PI, Stack, etc) use VDO senders. These come from Mardigras Racing at Silverstone (the UK agents) - 01327 858006 - but I'm not sure if they will match the gauge in the car. You may need to change it. Good Luck!
