Recommended Posts

Caterham Seven 1.7 Supersprint, 1987(D), 5spd, De-Dion, long cockpit, 36K miles, MOT Jan 2006, Tax August 2005.

Caterham Red with white noseband and bonnet stripe & black leather adjustable seats with Luke 4-point harnesses. Flared wings.

Picture (this may work - worth a try) courtesy of Pistonheads: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=38971&s=39

14” Black / Ali 5-spoke Revolutions + nearly new Bridgestone Potenza RE720’s.

Unleaded head + new piston rings, valve seats re-cut, exhaust ports re-ground, all done October 2004 by Slark Racing Engines in Amesbury, so no heavy breathing!!!

Car starts 1st time every time with excellent oil pressure & compression. 134bhp & 124lbs/ft on SRE’s rolling road – both very good figures for a ‘standard’ Supersprint. Last serviced January 2005.

Other spec includes:

Limited Slip Differential

Aldon Igniter electronic ignition

FIA rollbar + petty strut + full rollbar padding

6” stainless steel repackable silencer

High visibility side screens + Full wet weather gear inc. tonneau

Interior map pocket (James Whiting)

Ali’ gear knob

An excellent pampered Supersprint – would make an ideal ‘on the button’ Seven for the 1st time buyer (or K-Series owner wishing to savour the unforgettable sound of twin 40’s on full song…!!!)

Can be viewed in North Wiltshire, 5 mins from the M4.

£8700. Picture available on request. I can be contacted via mjweller@tiscali.co.uk

Left home 7am yesterday morning under a cloudless sky, sun shining, did 61 miles over mainly B roads & unclassifieds, including a great run over the Marlborough Downs - car ran beautifully.

Made me wonder why I was selling...until I returned to our 'new' house that requires total renovation... ☹️

Peter,

Can't seem to attach a file to the email through the L7C forum - please advise actual email address so I can send through Outlook (or can anybody advise how this may be achieved via the L7C email?)

Regards

Mike

Mike, don`t do it

This is an immaculate car, ideal as a first seven, and can vouch for the fact that Mike has lavished much time and money on keeping it in tip top condition. Only £500 more than I got for my crossflow which didn`t stand any comparison so good value.

Have a BTT on me.

Cheers Paul,

Certainly don't want to sell, but needs must etc. Well with all this fine weather I'm certainly going to get as much use out of it as possible before it finds a new owner!!!
