John E
My crossflow is now a little down on power and it seems that the best fix is a set of forged pistons, sort the unleaded head, new bearings, new cam and bits associated with it and a more modern ignition system. A rebore is recommended using an AX block. Cost is circa £1500. Now how do the alternatives stack up? OVER TO YOU LOT FOR THE DEBATE. Remember that all costs have to include additional mods if a different configuration is used. Edited by - John E on 13 Apr 2000 16:36:
Slipper man
AX blocks are good, but impossible to get hold of. If you can get hold of one, it'll blow your budget out of the water....
