This is my old block which I intended to have bored out to 1700cc (145bhp), but on dismantling the engine it was discovered that the block had been lined and could not safely be bored out to the full 1700cc The liners were almost certainly installed by Caterham when the car was built in 1997. As a result the block can only safely be bored out to perhaps 1620cc or 1630cc, but in all other respects it is sound. Hence the price £250.00 I also have the standard cam and followers from the engine (still in the correct order) Clutch and clutch plate.
