SteveP
My front number plate is stuck onto the nose cone using the same stuff that the factory use to glue the front wings to the stays with. Trouble is, I clobbered a cone at Elvington yesterday and have cracked the plate quite badly. So, is there an easy way to get this black gunk off? A special solvent or something? Thanks SteveP
red dave
steve P thinners will do it but mind your nice paint job, or you can use T cut this will work but on both you need to get as much of the bulk off as possible, again mind the paint test area recommended first. SteveP
Thanks for that. Being behind the number plate, I can't really get at it to get the bulk off at least without trashing the paint job, same goes for the thinners as there is a lot of this stuff holding on the plate (not down to me, I'll add at this point ) Any safe® solution?
