Smally
Come on folks! This is a great car and worth an offer. Can't believe that 160 people have looked at this and not responded!!!
oliv_s7
Hello I'm looking for a Caterham 1.6 K the car must be factory built with chassis number like SDKRDSAR6.... or SDKRDFAR6. Can you send me some pictures Thanks
Smally
The car was built privately and registered in July 1996 and obviously checked by the factory. I don't have pictures to offer right now, but will be sorting this out at the weekend. It's also right hand drive!
Smally
I'm basing the asking price on a valuation by Caterham Cars. If someone wants to make a sensible offer for the car I'll listen to it.
Snapper
oliv_s7................ Why must it be factory built ????? This won't be a guarantee of a quality built car over what many members have built. rj
It's a French thing, and probably has to do with the crash test! /r
Smally
I'm taking the car to Caterham tomorrow and will probably accept their offer if it's decent. If anyone is serious about making an offer please do so quickly as I am keen to sell. If not you can buy it for £1,500 more from them next week. Smally
Due to lack of interest from the site, I took the car to Caterham on Saturday and it's now on sale at the showroom for a couple of grand more than I wanted for it. Take a look. It's one of the best examples in their stock right now.
Gee Whizz
Damm it.. I might be interested in this car. just hadn't seen the post. have you sold it to caterham or are they just holding the car for you until it sells?
Smally
They have it on Sale or Return. I haven't sold it to them, and they've had it since a week past Saturday. I had to get a cherished plate off it before they would put it on the market. I believe the number is now N823 SGX.
