Graeme Smith
Just put my headlamps back on after a good couple of weeks racing without them. Should I reverse the bolt in the the front suspension, so the bolt head is towards the rear of the car and the thread is at the front? This would make removing/replacing the headlamps A LOT more easy, as I wouldn't have to remove the bolt to get the headlamp support link out of the front suspension. I take it the orientation of the bolt makes no difference? Anyone know what the size of this Allen bolt is (on a Classic with the "Scholarship" extra upper link)? I've been using a 9mm but it looks as though its chewing it up. I guess its imperial but where the hell do you get imperial Allen sockets??? Steve-B
i may well have some imperial / US sized ones if you want to borrow them. if i've got a spare set i could bring them to stoneleigh.... i would expect a proper hand tools shop would have them as well Steve 210Bhp Sinister Version-VHPD here
