Bob Corb Posted April 14, 2003 Share Posted April 14, 2003 A friends race car broke its gearbox during preparation for yesterdays 750MC kit car round at Brands. After a long night he managed to get another (std escort with tall ratios) box fitted and qualified 6th only to have the ignition fuse drop out of the fuse box on the grid!! A lot of hassle for a v short race!! May consider an uprated Trans X box(?) or similar as long as its synchromesh. If anyone can help him out with another box he'd be very grateful.
