Ant2
I wanted to source a wind breaker for long motorway journeys. There didn't seem any option but mesh mounted stuff made by softbits. I looked around for alternatives and found the mx5 wind breakers are near on exactly the right size. That and with the fia roll bar there is already 2 pre drilled convenient holes to mount it too. i removed the mx5 brackets, covers etc and bolts through the roll bar. it works perfect and blocks so much wind, it also doesn't look too weird. I thought I'd share. The mesh section is also useful for storing keys etc in. I even managed to get small bluetooth speaker in there that is loud enough to actually use. It's easily mounted and removed with 2 bolts and looks to be able to fit in the boot when not required. example mx5 wind breaker" https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276285359546?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Gbv_VrvVQcq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=xyigqGQpRLS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL And attached is it how it looks Edited April 11 by Ant2 Extra
Roger King
In similar vein I fitted a wind breaker to my Frogeye. Unfortunately, when we get home she complains about the difficulty of getting out of such a low car.
