Black bonnet springs and catches - where do I get them from ?

Despite opting for the "Black Pack" my 420R seems to have come with silver bonnet springs and catches.

Can anyone tell me where I can get some nice black ones ?

Be careful when you drill out the rivets for the old silver ones. It’ll be awful if, say, your drill bit snapped and put a horrible scratch in the side of your chassis skin……. Don’t ask me how I know….

I shall be as careful as a bomb disposal brain surgeon and mask the body appropriately.

I find when drilling out pop rivets it is best to knock the steel pip out of the centre using the shank of a spent rivet, then the drill is just removing the ally part and not the steel core (which causes the drill to wander and needs more drilling force!)

Not easy on the flimsy bonnet - might need an assistant and support behind the catch.

It's a great job to do though, the car looks much snazzier with the black catches

I always use a new drill but when doing the rivets on the body catches.
