Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 5, 2023 Leadership Team Share Posted September 5, 2023 #4, Correct. "Anthracites" is the term used for Caterham's anthracite coloured wheels used up until a few years ago and is synonymous with a style of wheel as much as the colour, being also available in black or silver. These were replaced by the Apollo (13") and Orca (15") which are completely different wheels.Stu.
Area Representative bluenose Posted September 5, 2023 Area Representative Share Posted September 5, 2023 Ok, never knew that and I have owned several Caterhams including a R300 with black anthracites? Always called them 8 spoke or 10 spoke(15").Nick
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 5, 2023 Leadership Team Share Posted September 5, 2023 Caterham didn't actually give them a name which didn't help! I've thought a few times about having a set in gloss black, I'm sure it would work well with a brightly coloured car.
