Hi All,

The toggle switch on the Caterham Seven xflow has failed and flapping about in the wind - any anyone advise the type of switch that is fitted ? - its a on-on switch with 3 spade terminals on

Caterham sell them at roughly #20 quid plus VAT - Seems mighty expensive

Thanks in advance for help

Hi All

Following replacement of toggle switch for the dip switch ( metal on-on type) which has three terminals numbered 1-2-3 and I have three wires with terminal 1 being blue /red, terminal 2 blue , terminal 3 blue /white  - I have connected the wires in the same way as the original switch - but now have no headlights /main beam. Fuses have been checked all ok,

has anyone any information or advice on how to fix this as Electrics is not one of my strong points

Thanks

Do you have a multimeter and would you like the appropriate wiring digram?

Here are the standard wiring colours.

First let's check that you have the right sort of switch. Please add a link to what you bought.

If there's no guidance with the switch then you need to check which terminals are connected when. The centre terminal is probably the input which should be connected to one and and only one of the others at a time.
