BenF
On getting back from a blat today, I saw that the lens had fallen off my rear fog lamp (broken at the screws)Is this item the same as a Land Rover Defender? I found this here:Land Rover Defender Lens on eBayWhich I believe is the same. I'm aware the official product is available elsewehere, but by ordering on eBay I can do Click and Collect and don't have to work from home to receive the package. K7 VCT
They crack easily if over tightened, ask me how I know
Drumster
The red lens also disintegrate as a result of petrol spillage, leaving 2 polo sized bits of lens surrounding the screws. Been there done that
john milner
Mine broke off after a couple of days of ownership. Over tightening was the likely cause and a replacement was sent out by Caterham next day.
BenF
That is exactly what happened - I'd just filled up and the auto-stop on the pump did not work and sprayed fuel all over the light. I then drove the short distance home and the lens was no longer there when I got home. A lesson learned!
