PU adhesive (which is what these are) is used to stick windows into vehicles. I've watched a few youtube videos of side windows being fitted into VW Transporters after the metal has been cut out. The installers create a large V notch in the nozzle which leaves a similar shaped bead of adhesive on the panel to which the glass is pressed onto.
