Is there a problem sending  PM's. I find it very hit and miss and extremely frustrating when it fails.

I don't know of a new problem.

Duplicates are quite common, as with forum posts. (But they aren't subsequently entangled, unlike multiple forum posts.)

But are you experiencing problems with notification to the recipient rather than sending the Private Message? I reckon that about 40% of those that I send aren't noticed, which is why I sometimes add a message in a public forum to say that there's one waiting. 

There are various reasons for this:

• If the recipient doesn't log out and in they won't see a notification at log-in.

• If the recipient is using a 'phone or other small screened device it's necessary to click the menu at the top right to see if there is a message waiting. You don't see it in the top menu bar as you do on a larger screen.

Or is it that email notification that there is a Private Message waiting doesn't seem to be working?
