Dave W Posted December 19, 2000 Share Posted December 19, 2000 Just to thank Alex and others who responded with help/trial parts for my non-starting woes a month or so ago. The situation was finally resolved by Caterham picking the car up (no charge - thanks Caterham!) and fixing it themselves. I picked it up a few weeks ago. The moral of this tale is if you don't want a 700+ bill (mine was 1200+ with a 12000 service included), disconnect the battery ! Sob...8-( FYI one little spark at the back of the alternator managed to blow both the ECU and the crankshaft speed sensor....! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
