MarkTheGoose
My CSR has an LSD, which I believe was factory fitted and I also believe is in a Ford differential housing. Can anyone tell me what the innards are likely to be please - i.e. Titan/ZF/etc...

Doctor
The first CSR cars tended to have ATB LSD in (as intended as road cars). The plated LSD usually went in at customer's request.
MarkTheGoose
Thanks Igor. Tom, what an excellent resource, thank you. If it wasn't so tricky to pull one of the driveshafts out, that certainly shows me how to tell for sure if it's an ATB or ZF
Doctor
Quite easy on CSR - just unbolt the wishbones and tracking arm and pull the whole thing out - beware of the brake line and speedo.
MarkTheGoose
All done - although not back together, due to discovering that the outer CV gaiter was torn during the suspension collapse incident! New Gaiter & GKN Tripode Grease ordered ...Yesterday, when I contacted Caterham, they confirmed that my CSR had been specified with an LSD as part of the factory build. They had no idea what it was, but guessed an ATB! Having taken the driveshaft out, I've discovered that my LSD is actually a ZF plated one, so that's good news too... Doctor
Now just make sure the ramp angles are 30/30 and then you can say you have a proper LSD!
