dickbowyer Posted July 4, 2019 Share Posted July 4, 2019 Having had to take out aero fuel filler neck to replace o-ring and hose to tank, I can see Caterham removed lead free fuel spring flap from fuel filler neck, when refueling was very difficult post SVA in 2007. Has anyone any experience of removing the mount for the flap in the fuel neck? It is spot welded in 4 positions. It would be great to remove as filling up from a modern lead free fuel petrol pump is very slow despite Caterham having removed. See picture of flap mount to be removed. flap.
