Norfolk Double-Header Part Two:

We are delighted to announce that, with permission from Lotus Cars Ltd and support from Lotus on Track, our Club-exclusive trackday at Hethel on Friday 3rd August is confirmed and now open for booking.

Lotus on Track have kindly agreed to organise and run this trackday on behalf of the Club, which is the second event in our 'Norfolk Double-Header', following-on from our track evening at Snetterton circuit on the preceding day.   The day will be operated in accordance with LoT's rules and procedures which are very similar to our own Club requirements.  A car and main driver costs only £189, a second driver £35 and passengers are free of charge.  Instruction will cost £20 for a session, bookable through LoT.

This may well be a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to drive with the Club on track at this famous location as access to the facility is now strictly restricted...

To secure a place - which are limited in number - please use the links below for further information and to access the Lotus on Track booking page.

Ah - not sure if you took the last place or not Martin, and sorry to hear that Wodybode didn't get on.

I'll check with Paul at LoT about a reserve list; for instance, I know of one early-booker who might not be able to take up his place but this would be best arranged through LoT to make sure that any spaces coming free go to people in the right order (ie, based on when people joined the 'queue').

That makes sense; see how it goes with getting on with the LoT reserve list and then book Snetterton if you get a place at Hethel.  We have enough headroom at Snetterton to accommodate a fair number of late-bookers!

Is there anyone booked that probably won’t be able to make it? There are a couple of people on the reserve list and it would great if we could get a bit of advance notice to allow us to travel down in time to squeeze onto the Snetterton evening the night before.

Thanks

Andy
