Child Seat advice!

Good morning all and a Happy New Year!

Does anyone have any advice on use of a car seat/high back booster in a Caterham fitted with standard leather seats and 4 point harnesses in an S3?

I would appreciate any advice you may have on this subject.

What age/ size are the children of interest?

There's a lot of useful information and experiences in the archives, roughly along these lines:

1. Solutions are available.
2. There's a widely-recommended Volvo child seat, but I can't remember how it goes with those seats. I think the same item is available with a Ford part number.
3. How about taking the 7 to Halfords and trying out several? NB Club discount.
4. Don't forget ear protection. (I'm assuming it has a windscreen!)

I use a volvo seat with leather S types and it fits very well. Brought new it wasnt cheap at £70 each for the base and back though we use in the tintop too. I posted the part numbers in one of the old threads. They do come up on ebay occasionally.

I have just been forced into finding a solution to this, and hhave found that a Cybex Pallas M-fix will squeeze into a Tillet. It is a complete pain to adjust the harness (as french regs do not allow me to use an aviation style buckle) and it is not a perfect fit, but for a couple of days while the wife's car gets fixed, it will have to do.

I too use the Volvo booster in my S3 with leather seats. I tight but fits....
