dickbowyer
I have a 2007 R400, wobbly needle problem fixed in 2008 by fitting sturdier sensor mounting modification. Suddenly speedo reading about 1/3 -1/2 actual speedo through out range. Likely cause? Sensor failure, dodgy earth or failing speedo? You suggestions very welcome. Also milometer LED display loosing parts of numbers. Any fix?
dickbowyer
Looks like I have inadvertently reset speedo code as reads 105764 or something similar, should have read Speedo earth thread
Member Jonathan Kay Posted September 24, 2017 Member Share Posted September 24, 2017 Yes, if it's consistently underreading as opposed to going wrong intermittently or in a way that is affected by speed that would be my first choice: recent discussion with instructions. Also milometer LED display loosing parts of numbers. Any fix? That's segments of the display dropping out rather than anything to do with the calibration? Speedometers and other instruments are repairable.Jonathan
