Cookie Monster
Is there a clutch fork boot designed to go over the clutch fork to cover the gap where it passes through the bell housing? It appears that something should go there as there are two threads in the bell housing but I can't see any images on line or on the CC site. MADMALC
My car (SLR) had no boot and the two threads were used to hold a small plate that effectively made an adjustable back stop. All from memory so please check that this is fact.
Paul Deslandes
Do you mean one of these? They have a groove that fits to the lip of the bell housing hole, plus a spring clip to hold it in place. Bit of a sod to fit but once in they do stay there. I didn't think the CC DS bell housing had a clutch fork.
Cookie Monster
PaulThat was the type I had on my old bell housing but is a different size and shape to the hole in the dry sump bell housing.
Mark w
My R400 K had nothing here. The boot in the link in Paul Ds post above didnt fit .As long as you don't drop something hard down the hole i don't think you will have an issue .
Mark w
You could always make something , maybe a flat piece of rubber with a hole for the end of the fork , moving back and forth as the lever moves ??
