Member Jonathan Kay Posted October 27, 2016 Member Share Posted October 27, 2016 Which engine? Can you: Read and post all of the terminal numbers? We're probably looking for 15, 30 and 50. And there may well be a 42. List the colours of all of the wires.Do you have a wiring diagram for the car? If not send me a Private Mail with the details of the model and engine.Jonathan
Molecular--Bob
Hi ArnoMy scuttle is off at the moment for wiring, so will be able to get you a picture this evening if you don't have a good answer before then. Mine is wired with a replacement loom to 1990 Supersprint spec, so should be the same I think.Do these help Looks like all the brown traces go to 30, all the whites go to 15 and the red and white to 50 Ian
Member Jonathan Kay Posted October 27, 2016 Member Share Posted October 27, 2016 There might be additional wires with other colours in the bundles to each connector. But this one probably won't be too hard to solve: DIN 72552 gives the terminal identification. (I always think of these as being defined by Bosch.) "Standard" wiring colours probably apply. I think I now have all the wiring diagrams for this era. (Thanks, Mike and others.) Most 7s don't seem to have anything on an "Accessory" terminal.Jonathan
arno
Dear all, thanks, this should do, the engine was a 1700 X-flow but now fitted a Zetec. Kind regards, Arno
