Mike in Sanderstead
Hi all,Hope someone can help. The shift lights on my car have recently stopped working when the revs increase. The box only shows the far left green light irrespective of revs. Ive checked the aces box under the dash and it is reading the revs correctly when the car is running. anyone had a similar issue? thanks
John Vine
Have you changed a setting or selected a different profile inadvertently, perhaps? My ACES never worked until I reset the "no. of cylinders" from 4 to 1, but that may not be your problem if, as you say, your unit used to work but then stopped. What engine do you have?JV

Member Jonathan Kay Posted September 19, 2016 Member Share Posted September 19, 2016 If it isn't the settings: Have you checked the connections between the two units? Wiggle, disconnect, inspect, reconnect. There's another current problem here with a link to the instructions.Jonathan
prangerman
It might be worth having a word ACES. They are very helpful. (They reprogrammed my non-user programmeable shift lights to my preferred settings for a modest £36 after an engine upgrade.) Peter
