Torque Setting for Crossflow Clutch housing to Flywheel?

abbot

Recommended Posts

All parts arrived and started the assembly process.

Can anyone please confirm the correct Torque Setting for teh bolts holding the clutch housing to the flywheel.  From what I have seen it looks like about 20Nm.

Is that about right?

I never torque them, i just do them firmly or as they say half a turn before they break *biggrin* what i do make sure of is that i bolt the pressure plate on evenly. this may mean that you go round the bolts for 6 or 7 times before the pressure plate touches the flywheel. This to avoid possible damage to the diaphragm spring.
